Promotion Credit Terms
Purchase, use, expiration, refund, and dispute rules for Promotion Credits.

Nature and price
Promotion Credits are prepaid units usable only for eligible promotional actions in the service. One purchased Promotion Credit currently costs US $1 before applicable tax. The server calculates checkout quantity and price; client-supplied prices are not accepted. Credits are non-transferable, not cash redeemable, not withdrawable, and are not currency, a deposit account, or a security.
Purchased and promotional allocations
Purchased and promotional balances are tracked separately through an immutable ledger and allocations. Consumption follows the service’s documented allocation order. Promotional allocations may expire on their stated date; purchased allocations do not expire unless required by law or expressly agreed. A checkout success page never grants Credits—only a verified, idempotently processed Stripe event completes a purchase.
Use in the Attention Market
Credits committed to an accepted Boost are consumed atomically and determine ranking under the Attention Market Rules. Clicks, impressions, and visitor behavior do not create Credits and do not affect market rank.
Refunds and disputes
Promotion Credits are generally final once purchased. An administrator may approve an exceptional refund of unused purchased Credits after review. Promotional Credits and already-consumed purchased Credits are not automatically refundable. Partial consumption, chargebacks, disputes, duplicated payments, or mismatched provider records are placed into auditable finance review; the service will not manufacture a negative Credit balance to force a reversal. Taxes and provider fees may be handled as required by law.
Corrections and suspension
We may correct demonstrable processing errors through compensating ledger entries, never by silently editing history. We may temporarily restrict purchases or spending while suspected fraud, disputes, account compromise, or reconciliation differences are investigated.
